Smooth path tools are used in the initial penetration of canals which are often narrow, curved and calcified. In addition to their small size, they must be characterized by high flexibility and resistance to twisting in the canal, hence the creation of such a tool requires an advanced technological process. Thanks to the use of a special heat treatment process, Amber HT Technology by Poldent, an improved NiTi alloy was created, used in the production of Endostar EP Easy Path instruments.

In addition to the modified NiTi alloy, a special cross-section S was used. Thanks to this, the core of the file is very massive, which ensures safety of work even in heavily calcified canals.

Variable, decreasing taper makes it easier to follow the tool into the canal, minimizing the resistance in the coronal part of the canal, and prevents unnecessary removal of dentin at the canal mouth. The size 14 at the apex is a compromise between the ability of the instrument to easily reach the apex and the ability to safely widen the canal with the next rotary instrument.

Application of Endostar EP Easy Path

The Endostar EP Easy Path file has been designed to provide mechanical, safe and quick glide path preparation for canal shaping tools. It is adapted to most endodontic contra-angles, and thanks to the possibility of earlier bending, we can easily insert it into hard-to-reach canals, or enable the step in the canal to be bypassed. It easily follows the course of the most curved canals.

How to work with the Endostar EP Easy Path file?

The file should be worked with a torque set at 1 Ncm (up to 1.5 Ncm for advanced doctors). Files should be worked at a speed of 300 rpm (up to 500 rpm for advanced users). If your contra-angle/endomotor cannot smoothly set the torque, but only select the level set by the manufacturer, it should be selected so as not to exceed the recommended values.
